What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Origination- Commercial Analyst (Contractor)  based in Santiago de Chile. The origination analyst is responsible for supporting the lines of work dedicated to finding new business for the company. This includes collaborating in elaborating reports to various internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals and resources to develop the business plan and support in the participation of private and public. Additionally, the analyst manages the portfolio of potential clients and keeps the customer database up to date with contacts and new demand opportunities to materialize the company's pipeline.

What Challenges will you face?

Conduct extensive research on the energy market, analyzing trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics. This helps in identifying new business opportunities and understanding competitor strategies¡

Coordinate with the commercial area's support, preparing reports for the board and other stakeholders to obtain internal approvals or generate informational material.

Search and parameterization of potential new clients based on public information from agencies such as CEN, CNE, Ministry of Energy, etc., and consumer associations.

Maintenance and administration of the company's CRM, coordination of campaign generation, and keeping reports up to date for the commercial area.

Support in the search for new and creative ways to materialize our pipeline, such as new demand not existing today in the network, behind-the-meter solutions, and large-scale electrification that the company can supply.

What specific knowledge do you need?

Preferred but not exclusive: At least two years in similar areas or departments or developing similar tasks in utilities, IPPs, regulatory entities, traders, or other generation or energy commercialization companies.

Intermediate to advanced skills in database management.

Intermediate to advanced skills in coding (Python preferred).

Intermediate to advanced skills in modeling project valuation.
